Mission Field: Week 3

Hello Família (Family),

Well, things are going great!  We are having a blast here in Sal!  We have had a slow week here, but its picking back up agora (now)!  We are teaching 4 familias (families) and they are moving along great.  We are getting possibly 2 married in the next few weeks and baptised after that.  We have one husband and he is sooo cool!  He had some problems with the w.o.w. and he stopped cold turkey on all of it!  He really is a golden investigator!:)

Yes, I live in a place like the one I sent, but much nicer and that's the typical home here.  The island is flat and dry and windy.  We walk about 5 or 6 miles everyday and its all volcanic cobblestone, so shinsplints happen a lot.  We get up at 6:30 am and run, then study til 12 noon.  We start teaching at 12 noon, then have a 2 hour break for lunch, (we put the dinner hour in there to), and we go back out at 3 pm and teach till 9 pm, then we plan the next day and do it all again.  I'm sending pics of what we did for p-day (preparation day), this week.  It's some salt place by our city.  It was really fun and we had a good day:).
