MISSION FIELD: Week 41

24 Feb 2014

Well, Hello Again from Here,

This week was a good week.  We worked a little more than last week, but my comp is still a little broken.  So, we still can't move much.  But, that will change this next week and I will get a new comp.   I have learned the language lots better now, which is really good.

Well, we don't have any progressing investigators, so there goes that, but things are good and I'm learning lots.  Not lots to talk about this week, but, you never know what will happen this next week, so its all good.

Well, I have to go, so y'all be safe and I'll talk to you all next week!

MISSION FIELD: Week 40

10 Feb 2014

Hey Guys,

I hope all is going good for you, so there is not much to talk about this week.  We spent most of it inside, 'cause my comp has bad knees, so we couldn't walk much.  We got a few lessons in, but it was really slow.  Still working on getting this area back up and running and trying to find new people to teach, but it's always slow at first, so no worries.

But, that is really all I have to say today and I'm sorry it is. ha ha  But, I hope and pray you all are doing well and have a great week!

MISSION FIELD: Week 39 Welp, one more week here in the middle of the ocean.... and it still rocks!!!!:)

10 Feb 2014

Well, I am now in a zone of Praia called Achadinha.   It's really close to my old area, but for us it's pretty far.  I am with Elder Araujo, he is from Brazil.  Its pretty fun here, I get to learn a little more on how to speak better, but it will be fun here.  Our area is pretty big.  To get to the back of the area, is like and hour and 15 min walk, so ya pretty big for us.

We are working on building the inventory of people we teach, 'cause they were not teaching lots, but we do have some good people and it should give some great fruits here for this branch of the church.

By the way, I will never live in apartments, when I come back home.  Super depressing. ha ha  Our house is just big enough to live in, its like 20 ft by 20 ft, but I guess it is better that living in a 5 x 10 house with 6 other people.
We got some papers done for a wedding today and I am super excited for this wedding!  It will be super nice:)

Welp, that's about all that has happened in the past week and that's a rap folks.  We are here every Monday, at the same time, so see ya next week on the Elder Stratton Show!!! (as you can see p-days are kinda boring)

MISSION FIELD: Week 38 Transfer

3 Feb 2014

Hello Everyone,

This week has been super good and I am really happy:)

We had one baptism this week.  His name was Nene.  He is super cool, but we are super lucky in this area.

Sunday night we were planning a little for our area and we get a call from president and he transferred me.  So I am going to a new area in an hour.  So that will be fun, I guess I'm supposed to help that area.  So that's fun, but I will send a good email about it all next week!:)

But I have to go, so ya.

love you all,
Elder Stratton
