MISSION FIELD: Week 37

Well, this sound like it was a crazy week for you all...

  Well, this week was really good for us.  We got two members of a family baptized.  

  I can really see that Heavenly Father is watching out for you all and he is truly blessing us. I am so thankful that everyone is safe and that we have angels all around us.  Just one more way to know that we do have a very loving God and He knows everything we need. 

  I hope this week is a very safe week and i love you all!!!

MISSION FIELD: Week 36 Happy Birthday, Elder Stratton!

Hey Everyone!!!

   Well this last week was super sick!  I have tons to tell you!! Well, to start off we started teaching a family this last week, they were actually a street contact, but anyway, we started talking to them and the first lesson was great!!  The spirit was strong and it was just great!  Then, they came to church with us yesterday and it was super cool.  The ward helped out a lot and really made them feel welcomed, so then, we marked to go talk to them later Sunday night.  So, we go and start talking and then we just stop and we are like, "Hey do you guys have a question for us?" and the wife, Patricia, goes "Yes, how many times do we have to go to church before we can get baptized?" And we are like, "Well you will have to get married first and then you can be."  And they are like, "Well, we have wanted to get married, but we just don't have money for it."  And we are like, "Well, we are happy to say you all will be getting married and baptized in 1 month!"  Super sick, I love this family!  They have started living the commandments from day one, giving up drinking and everything!!  Oh, and I get to be a best man at their wedding, so that will be great!!!  ha ha  But, they are really happy and excited.  It will be really cool!

   Then, we had Zenito and Melani baptized on Saturday and that was really cool.  I am super happy to be in this area at this time and we are about to have the ward split and get a branch in our area!!  We are just growing like crazy and it,s super fun.   We survived  transfers and we stayed the same, so we will have lots of fun this next transfer:)  I hope all is going well for all of you and you are doing good.  Remember  to have a great week!!

MISSION FIELD: Week 35

Well Hello Everyone!!

   So, this week was a little less fast, but still it was good!!   So, we are having a good time and getting ready for our baptisms this week.  We have 2 and they are so cool,  both just have a huge desire to do good and it's really fun to work with them and then the cooler part is that Carlos, our baptism from a few weeks ago, will baptize them both . He is growing so fast!!  

   But that's my life here and I love every second of it!!!!  Well, have a great week and remember I love y'all!!

MISSION FIELD: Week 34

Hey guys!!

   Well, this week was really fun and we had lots of adventures.  Well, today we went to Cidade Velha and it was really cool!  I will try and get some pics off, but its hard.  By the way, it's the oldest city in West Africa.

   On Sunday, we had Carlos, from last week. get the priesthood and it was cool.  We got to help ordain him and then he got to ordain one of his best friend, so it was a good time for him and he is learning a lot.  He will also be able to baptize 2 of his friends and sister on the 18th,so its going to be very memorable for him and us.  But that is going to be really fun and we are excited for the next 2 weeks.

   New Years was great here, we had lots of fun and we are able to do lots of work in the last few days, so its all just happy!!   Well I have to go but have a great week!!

WOW: Well Hello Everyone!!!

   Ok so this has still been really crazy week.  So Monday, I was getting ready to email and I get a call that one of my investigators is at the place to register for marriage!  So we run down there to help out and spend most of the day there trying to get everything sorted out and stuff.  Man it was crazy, but we finally got everything done.  Then, me and my comp find out we are going to be best men at the wedding! Ha-ha yaw.  That was big surprise for all of us!  Ha-ha, but its good and we are really happy to help out.

   So, we had 2 batizmos this last week, Carlos and Marcio.  Man they are really cool and Carlos is preparing to get the priesthood, so he can baptize his friend that we are teaching!  So cool!  We have some boss converts and boss investigators!  I am so lucky to be in the area I’m in right now and working with this people! .I feel so lucky and blessed!

   It was really fun to get to talk to you all and be able to see you all.  I had a good time and I’m glad Christmas was good for you all!  I’m excited for this New Year and being able to work and do what I do!  I know that what I do is the work of God and I know every person need to know it!  So share with everyone and help out anyone that needs to be lifted up in life!  That is where we find true joy.
